shelter, healing and compassionate end of life care for those who are in need
Our greatest need at this time is finding a home in a neighborhood that will accept us and allow us to be a part of their community. We will only be successful with the support of good, old fashioned community. We also always welcome suggestions and ideas. Please call (423)486-4001. Please help us with big, brave and bold prayers.
Your prayers give us strength, encouragement and remind us we’re not alone knowing that so many people care about our mission, our family and our patients.
Come to Welcome Home and be part of our family. Visit, stay, help and love. We are for the community and supported by the community. You are welcome. Help us communicate our goal to be a home that nurtures the living and accompanies the dying.
In order to maintain a family-like atmosphere, Welcome Home relies on the kindness and devotion of volunteers. We welcome all gifts and skills, whether it's providing companionship, cooking a meal or helping with our memory garden. We currently need volunteers to help serve on our board of directors and to help with fundraising. Everyone is welcome.
Welcome Home is for the community and supported by the community. We partner with local groups, agencies, churches and synagogues, neighbors, universities (School of Nursing and School of Social Work, for example) and health care providers to build relationships with residents and one another in support of our mission.
We are grateful for the generous financial support we receive from individuals, faith communities, local businesses and our community foundations.
