NHCHC Trauma Informed Care and Homeless Services

  • Welcome Home of Chattanooga Chattanooga, TN 37405 USA (map)

Our second session of our online series with our partners at the National Health Care for the Homeless Council. Our friend Cindy Manginelli of the NHCHC will present :

Trauma Informed Care and Homeless Services

The concept of trauma has become so broad in our culture that is has almost lost all meaning. However, for those who have experienced violence, abuse, neglect, incarceration, and other truly traumatic events, trauma can be a devastating part of everyday life and can actually prevent those who are suffering from receiving the help they need.  Join us to discover the meaning and causes of trauma, how trauma affects those we serve, and what it means to provide trauma informed care.
