The dictionary defines grief as, “keen mental suffering or distress over affliction or loss; sharp sorrow; painful regret.” None of us are immune to grief; it is part of the human condition. If you love, if you care, if you are alive, then grief is inevitable.
But grief is so much more than what a dictionary can define. It’s something that one must experience to truly understand. Grief can, indeed, bring suffering and distress—but it can also bring unexpected moments of great joy and celebration.
Love & Grief honors this space where grief meets joy. During this experiential evening, we welcome you to embrace and share your grief and your joy in an environment where both are welcome and celebrated.
A participatory floral art installation by Fox & Fern beckons you to allow your heartache and happiness to co-exist.
