VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT WELCOME HOME OF CHATTANOOGA
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
Welcome Home of Chattanooga’s mission is to create a community of hope, healing, and compassion for those who are facing a serious illness or death and need safe shelter.
Volunteers are crucial to that mission—we cannot do it without them!
Dinner Club
Love to cook?
Our Dinner Club is a great fit for those whose love language is feeding others!
Whether providing a one-time dinner or regular meals, members of our Dinner Club are a crucial part of our volunteer team.
Go Go Club
Members of our Go Go Club help our residents with transportation.
Whether getting them to/from doctor’s appointments or running errands, Go Go Club is a great way to spend quality time with our residents and provide them the rides they need.
Garden Club
Got a green thumb? Garden Club is another great way to spend quality time with our folks!
Our Garden Club meets regularly to, well, garden! We plant seasonal flowers, herbs, vegetables, and more while enjoying each other’s company.
Companionship
Meaningful conversations, lifelong bonds, and deep friendships happen most through our Companion Program.
Companion volunteers spend time with our residents, hold vigil, and are a steady and calming presence for everyone at Welcome Home.
Fundraising
Welcome Home is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit.
We do not receive government or insurance funding. Our doors stay open because of the generosity of people just like you.
Make a one-time gift or join our Circle of Friends and give a recurring gift. Every dollar helps!
Graduate Support
When the health of our cancer respite (and sometimes, hospice!) residents stabilizes, they join our Graduate Program.
Graduate Support volunteers help continue to support our Grads as they transition to independent living with rides, companionship, and love.
